• Can you ask John to harry up? If we don't hurry up we'll be late. 
• Sorry, I'm almost ready.

• Um, sorry, I need to go!
• Um, you need to speak more slowly.

• Did you hear what I said?
• Uh-huh  [express agrement, to main yes] 
• Hmm, ok.

• That  will never happen.

• Are you sure of that?
